LINCOLN SQUARE — A car crashed into a dentist office in Lincoln Square early Friday after someone began firing shots in the area, police said.
The driver of the 2019 Volkswagan Passat was headed east in the 2400 block of West Foster Avenue around 2:30 a.m. when someone fired shots nearby, police said.
The car then veered and crashed into the front doors of Four Seasons Dental Studio at 2472 W. Foster Ave. The office is part of a commercial and residential building at the northeast corner of Lincoln and Foster avenues.

The Passat’s driver ran away from the crash, leaving behind an injured passenger. That 25-year-old man was taken to nearby Swedish Covenant Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, said Sally Bown, a police spokesperson.
The Passat was in the dentist’s office for nearly twelve hours before being pulled out and towed away around 1 p.m. Friday.
