LOGAN SQUARE — The first-ever Taste of Logan Square is set for Oct. 22.

The event, described as a “dinner crawl around the square,” is set for 6-9 p.m. A $35 ticket will get you bites and drinks from the following neighborhood eateries:

Merchant Chicago
Daisies Chicago
Mini Mott
BiXi Beer
Young American
The Crab Pad
The Whale Chicago
Longman & Eagle
Passion House Coffee Roasters
Saba Italian Bar + Kitchen
The Old Plank

The event is being put on by the Logan Square Chamber of Commerce. All proceeds will benefit the chamber.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the tickets had already sold out.
According to Jessica Wobbekind, executive director for the chamber, more tickets will be released, but they will be offered to those on the waitlist first.

If people on the waitlist don’t snag them, then they will be offered to the public.

For those who don’t snag a ticket, will be more opportunities to go on a chamber-organized food crawl in the future, Wobbekind said. Upcoming events will focus on the culinary/bar scene in other parts of the neighborhood.
