LITTLE VILLAGE — Police are warning drivers after thieves broke into cars over the weekend along the popular 26th Street corridor in Little Village.
In four separate incidents, someone smashed a window of a parked car to steal items from inside, police said in a community alert.
The most recent incident happened between 2 a.m. and 4:45 a.m. Sunday in the 4100 block of West 26th Street.
The other thefts happened in the:
- 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 4200 block of West 26th Street
- between 12:50 a.m. and 3:55 a.m Saturday in the 4000 block of West 26th Street
- between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 2:45 a.m. Saturday in the 4100 block of West 26th Street
