LINCOLN SQUARE — Lincoln Square’s Apple Fest will return this weekend with live music, an apple pie bake-off and more.
Now in its 32nd year, the two day festival is taking over Lincoln Avenue between between Lawrence and Eastwood avenues. For both Saturday and Sunday, the event will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Dozens of vendors participate in Apple Fest every year, selling everything from candy apples to scarves and hats. Pick up fresh apple pie, hot apple cider or even a whole bushel of apples.
Organizers are asking for a $5 donation and money raised from this event supports beautification projects in Lincoln Square, Ravenswood and contributes financially to several community non-profits.
Additionally, live two stages will feature live music from Jonas Friddle, High Hat Second Line, The Friends Band, The Flat Cats, Tijuana Hercules and more.
