WEST TOWN — The Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights invites community members to participate in a fair housing clinic this weekend in West Town.

From 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at the Erie Neighborhood House, 1347 W. Erie St., residents will have the chance to learn about fair housing rights and tenant rights in Chicago.

Residents will also be able to consult one-on-one with a professional to discuss a particular housing or rental issue.

The presentations and the intake services will both be offered in English and in Spanish.

The Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights is a team of racial and economic equity-focused lawyers who provide legal representation and collaborate with grassroots organizations.

The Erie Neighborhood House is a human services agency that provides Chicago’s immigrant communities with services related to housing, literacy, health and wellness and other issues. The nonprofit recently celebrated its 150th birthday.
