PILSEN — A 17-year-old boy was killed and three others were wounded in a shooting in Pilsen Tuesday night.
At 8:26 p.m., four men and the 17-year-old were walking in the 2000 block of South Hoyne Avenue when they were shot, according to the Chicago Police Department.
The 17-year-old teenage boy was shot in his groin and taken to Stroger Hospital where was pronounced dead, police said.
An 18-year-old man was shot twice in his chest and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
Another 18-year-old man was shot in his leg and taken to Stroger Hospital where his condition has stabilized. A 25-year-old man was shot in his left arm and right leg and also taken to Stroger Hospital where his condition had stabilized, police said.
No other information was available and Area Central detectives are investigating.
