Lakeview Taco Fest To Feature Food, Lucha Libre And Latin Music This Weekend

CHICAGO — Taco fans can sample their favorite fare from 13 restaurants at this weekend’s Taco Fest in Lakeview.

Saturday and Sunday will mark the seventh year for the festival, which will feature food, drinks, live music and activities for kids, according to a news release. Cafe Tola, Tuco & Blondie and Garifuna Flava will be among the restaurants serving up tacos and other treats.

Attendees will also be able to vote for Chicago’s best taco and watch lucha libre wrestlers.

The festival is 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday on Southport Avenue between Addison and Roscoe streets. There is a $10 suggested donation.
