NEAR WEST SIDE — Looking to mourn or celebrate summer’s end? Goose Island’s annual 312 Block Party will bring the street outside the brewery to life this weekend with $3 beers and live music from headliners Jenny Lewis and Kurt Vile.
The block party runs from 5-10 p.m. Friday and 4-10 p.m. Saturday outside the brewery at 1800 W. Fulton St. Attendees can enter at Fulton and Wolcott.
Margo Price, the Budos Band, Priests, Lola Kirke, Ben Pirani, Manwolves, Roy Kinsey, Tatiana Hazel, Rookie, Cafe Race and Dogs At Large are also set to take the stage.
Beers at the fest will be $3. The extensive list includes Born + Raised, Gillian, Goose IPA, Golden Barrel, Lost Palate, Oktoberfest, Paper Umbrella, So-Lo, Sofie, SPF and more. Attendees will also get a chance to enjoy vintage Bourbon County stout variants on tap.
Clybourn Brewhouse, Bub City, Harold’s Chicken, the Fat Shallot and Tamale Spaceship will also be on hand selling food.
Attendees will be asked to give an option $10 suggested donation when entering the fest. The donation benefits RefugeeOne, Planned Parenthood Illinois, Growing Home, Chicago Canine Rescue and Project Fierce.
