CHICAGO — The first Taste of Boystown tour will feature more than a dozen restaurants next week.
Attendees at the Sept. 24 tour will be able to stroll the neighborhood while stopping at participating restaurants. The event is the first time there has been Taste of Boystown, according to organizers.
Participants can eat fried queso blanco with wasakaka pepper sauce from Roscoe’s Tavern, bourbon chicken tacos from D.S. Tequila Company and smoked chicken empanadas, among other offerings. Other spots will serve up wine, beer, spirits and cider.
In all, there will be 17 locations from which participants can sample food and drinks. A full menu is available online.
Tickets are $30, with $5 of that going toward the Lakeview Pantry, and can be bought online.
The event runs 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Tickets can be bought at Crosstown Fitness, 3600 N. Halsted St., or FFC Boystown, 3228 N. Halsted St., the day of the event.
