LINCOLN SQUARE — Got a dirty ride? Just swing by Waters Elementary this Saturday to get your car spruced up and help support the school.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Waters Elementary volunteers will be washing cars in the school’s parking lot just north of the intersection of Maplewood and Sunnyside avenues.

Cars will cost $10 to get cleaned while trucks and SUVs will cost $15 to get scrubbed. All proceeds from the car wash fundraiser will go towards the eighth grade spring field trip for the class of 2020.

Waters is known for its fine and performing arts, ecology and technology programs — specifically its environmental awareness and healthy living curriculum. The school serves 640 kindergarten through eighth grade students from neighborhoods that include Lincoln Square, Ravenswood and Albany Park.
