New Gas Station Proposed For Corner Of Kimball and Montrose Avenues

The plans for the new gas station will be presented to the community on Wednesday at Henry Elementary School, 4250 N. St. Louis Ave., at 6 p.m.

ALBANY PARK — The Albany Park community will get a chance Wednesday to weigh in on plans for a new gas station at the intersection of Kimball and Montrose avenues.

A proposal was recently submitted to add a gas station to the 7-11 at 4346 N. Kimball Ave.

The plans will be presented at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Henry Elementary School, 4250 N. St. Louis Ave.

The meeting is being organized by the North River Commission, Ald. Carlos Ramirez-Rosa (35th), Ald. Rosanna Rodriguez Sanchez (33rd), Albany Park Neighbors, People of East Albany Park Block Club and The Residents of Irving Park.

This proposal is expected to go before the city’s zoning board of appeals Sept. 20.
