PILSEN — A man is dead after being shot multiple times early Tuesday morning in Pilsen, police said.
At 1:23 a.m., police were responding to a call of shots fired in the 1600 block of South Loomis Street when they found a man in an alley with a gunshot wound to his neck and chest, according to the Chicago Police Department.
The man, whose age is unknown, was taken to UIC Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No one is in custody and police are investigating.
No other information was immediately available.
