CHICAGO — Rainbow Cone fans, rejoice: The ice cream shop isn’t just selling ice cream anymore.
Long a Chicago icon, Rainbow Cone is famous for its multi-flavored ice cream cones (the original features chocolate, strawberry, Palmer House, pistachio and orange sherbet). It’ll soon sell T-shirts, socks and phone covers that pay tribute to the treat, too, according to photos and an announcement on Instagram.
The company’s online shop isn’t open yet, but the Instagram announcement says merchandise is “coming very soon.”
Photos show the shop will sell a shirt that says, “Life is too short to only get one flavor,” as well as shirts with rainbow cones and the company’s logo on them. Other photos show multi-colored socks and a phone cover that looks like it’s dripping with ice cream.
Earlier this year, Rainbow Cone also announced it’d start delivering ice cream to your house.
