CHICAGO — A man has groped or tried to grope at least four women since the beginning of June, often near Little Village’s Shedd Park.

In three of the incidents, the man went up to the women from behind and touched them, according to a Chicago Police community alert. During another incident, a woman noticed the man following her and sought a safe place until the man went away.

Three of the incidents occurred after the victims had been in Shedd Park and then left, police said.

The incidents occurred:

  • 10:15 a.m. June 5 in the 2200 block of South Ridgeway Avenue
  • 12:45 p.m. June 19 in the 2300 block of South Millard
  • 10 a.m. July 2 in the 3600 block of West 24th Street
  • 10 a.m. July 15 in the 2200 block of South Avers Street

Police released photos of the man and said he typically wears red pants.
