Annual St. Helen’s Carnival Returns To Ukrainian Village This Weekend

Admission to the carnival is free, but sales from beer, wine, food and carnival ride tickets will benefit St. Helen's Catholic School.

The annual carnival will offer rides, live music and carnival food and games.

UKRAINIAN VILLAGE — St. Helen Catholic School’s 15th annual carnival kicks off Friday on Augusta Boulevard between Western and Oakley avenues.

The carnival will feature live music with headliner bands Hoyle Brothers (Friday), Krystal Metcalfe (Saturday) and Kate Bush cover band Great Moments in Vinyl (Sunday). View a full concert line-up and schedule here.

Carnival hours will be 5-10 p.m. Friday, 12-10 p.m. Saturday and 12-8 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is free, but tickets for beer, food and rides will be for sale. Proceeds benefit the St. Helen school.

Polish sausage, stuffed cabbage and potato, sauerkraut and mushroom-stuffed pierogis will be available for sale along with burgers, hot dogs, corn and other snacks.

A beer garden will serve Miller Lite, craft beers and red and white wine.
