BRONZEVILLE — The 90th Bud Billiken Parade, with Chicago native Lil Rel Howery as grand marshal, marched through Bronzeville Saturday with a host of dignitaries joining the fun.
Notable attendees included Mayor Lori Lightfoot, Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, U.S. Reps. Danny Davis and Bobby Rush, former NBA player and Proviso East alum Shannon Brown and singer BJ the Chicago Kid.
The parade took a two-mile route down King Drive to Washington Park, where festivities continued with the “It Takes a Village” family fair.
