Free Document Shredding At 10 A.M. Friday At 71st And Yale

ENGLEWOOD —Live in the Englewood area and have some old documents you need to get rid of?

Residents are invited to bring their documents to a temporary shredding station at the parking lot on 215 W. 71st St from 10 a.m. to noon Friday.

People can bring all non-glossy documents, including outdated medical records, tax returns, old bills, bank statements, pay stubs, receipts and junk mail. Newspapers, magazines, metal or plastic binder clips will not be accepted.

The shredding station is for residents only. Businesses will not be allowed to shred.

Midway Moving Shredding Service will provide the equipment. To see a the full list of guidelines, go here.
