ANDERSONVILLE — Two people were injured when a speeding car crashed into a CTA bus in Andersonville Tuesday morning.
About 6 a.m., a car hit a bus in the 5000 block of North Clark Street, according to police.
The Sun-Times reported that the driver of the bus and car were injured in the crash.
Witness Meghan O’Donnell said she was on her way to the gym when she saw a white car speeding down the street before ramming into the bus.
“He didn’t see the bus at all,” she said of the car.
O’Donnell said the bumper from the bus went flying through the air, missing her by only a few feet.
“I was stunned and in shock,” she said.
