LOGAN SQUARE — Those looking for affordable housing in the Logan Square and Humboldt Park area can find out what’s available and submit an application to live in one of the buildings at an upcoming housing fair.

The fair, hosted by State Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-Chicago), is set for 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 10 at Casa Central Auditorium, 1343 N. California Ave.

Politicians Ald. Daniel La Spata (1st), Ald. Roberto Maldonado (26th) and State Senator Omar Aquino (D-Chicago) are listed as event partners.

The purpose of the fair is to give neighbors the tools they need to find affordable housing in the area.

At the fair, neighbors will be able to find out what affordable housing units are available in the area and even apply to live in one of the buildings. Information on tenants rights, how to buy your first home and ways to save on your property taxes will also be provided.
