THE LOOP — A carjacker crashed into a Jackson Blue Line station entrance on Tuesday, police said.
At 11:35 a.m., a driver and front seat passenger of a Hyundai got out of the car in the 400 block of South Dearborn Street, police said. A man got into the driver’s seat and sped off, even though there were two people in the backseat.
The man lost control of the car and hit an entrance to the Jackson Blue Line station in the 300 block of South Dearborn Street, police said. He ran off after.
A man and woman who were passengers in the Hyundai refused emergency medical services.
No one was in custody and an investigation was ongoing.
