ALBANY PARK — Lot Jams returns this summer with free concerts in Albany Park.
The shows will be held every other Thursday starting Aug. 1 at the parking lot between Surge Coffee Bar and Billiards, 3241 W. Montrose Ave. and Aspire Kids, 3235 W. Montrose Ave.
The concert series is an all-ages event that will feature arts activities for children as well as food and drink from Surge Billiards. Styles of music featured include Chicago Blues, Mexican cantina music, Balkan brass and contemporary lo-fi.

Rev Bob
Rev Bob is a Blues & Classic Rock cover band hailing from the west suburbs of Chicago.
Aug. 15
Madera Once
Madera Once is a four-piece band that pays tribute to Mexican-regional and traditional music with a contemporary spin.
Aug. 29
Black Bear Combo
Black Bear Combo was formed in 2002 by Doug Abram, a noise drummer inspired to take up horns after hearing Romany musicians in Ceske Krumlov.
Sept. 12
Gone Valley
Gone Valley writes songs with no words here in the Great North Middle West.
The concert series is being presented by the Albany Park & Irving Park Special Service Area #60 (SSA), Surge, Aspire, The Residents of Irving Park, People of East Albany Park, Albany Park Neighbors and the North River Commission.
