DOWNTOWN — Actors from “The Music Man” will perform Tuesday in Millennium Park before a screening of the classic movie.

“The Music Man” is currently on stage at the Goodman Theatre, and two of its singers — Geoff Packard (who plays Harold Hill) and Monica West (who plays Marian Paroo) — will perform at the free screening. Music director Jermaine Hill will play the piano.

Afterward, the 1962 film version of the musical will be shown.

“The Music Man” follows Hill as he attempts to con the people of River City, Iowa, while tricking Paroo into falling in love with him so she won’t stop him.

The performance kicks off 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Jay Pritzker Pavilion.
