CHICAGO — Shootings in Little Village on Sunday left two people wounded.
Most recently, at 6:36 p.m., a 20-year-old man was getting out of a car in the 4100 block of West 28th Street when he heard shots and felt pain, police said. The man was hit in his left shoulder and left leg.
The man took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.
Earlier in the day, at 8:27 a.m., a 16-year-old boy was walking in the 3000 block of South Tripp Avenue when someone in a passing car fired shots, police said. He was hit in his hip and arm.
The boy was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as “stable,” police said.
No one was in custody in these shootings. Investigations were ongoing.
