River Hikes, Music And ‘E.T’ Screening Planned For HornerFest Family Day This Weekend

IRVING PARK  — Horner Park will have free family-friendly programming all day on Saturday. 

The event starts at 9 a.m. with a farmer’s market at the park, 2741 W. Montrose Ave., and throughout the day the festival also feature face painting, music, a beer and wine garden for adults and hiking tours along the river.

The festival will end with a screening of “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.”
