6th Ward Open House: Residents can meet Ald. Rod Sawyer and his staff while learning about community resources and requesting city services at 10 a.m. Saturday at the 6th Ward Service Center, 700 E. 79th St.

So Fresh Saturdays: Check out performances from FM Supreme, Jaymal Green and more when the tour stops at Hermitage Park, 5839 S. Wood. from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.

Homebuying Workshop: Aspiring homeowners can learn the ins and outs of homeownership at this workshop offered by the Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Team Englewood, 815 W. 63rd. Registration is required.

Dining on The 5: The Greater Chatham Initiative hosts this event celebrating 75th Street’s restaurant row, now in its third year. Folks are invited to bring a lawn chair and grab a lunch from one of several participating restaurants, including Lem’s Bar-B-Q House, Brown Sugar Bakery, Soul Vegetarian, and 5 Loaves Eatery. The fun starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, 200 E. 75th Street.

Neo Soul Yoga Flo: Find your center while listening to the soulful stirrings of Erykah Badu and Bilal at this beginner-friendly class held at Footworks Dance Studio, 400 W. 76th St., from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are still available.
