CHICAGO — A man followed a woman and raped her early Tuesday in Rogers Park, according to Chicago Police.
At 1:30 a.m., the woman got off a train near the Morse Red Line station and the man followed her to the 1300 block of West Lunt Avenue, according to a Chicago Police community alert. He went into her building after her where he attacked and sexually assaulted her.
The man was described as in his 20s, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10 and skinny with a black fade haircut, police said. He wore a black leather jacket with the words “Tin Cup” on the upper right sleeve, a long-sleeve white shirt, black pants, black socks with gray heels and light brown suede dress shoes.
The man was carrying an oversized red or maroon backpack.
