WEST TOWN — West Fest Chicago kicks off this weekend and is bringing more than 30 musical acts to Chicago Avenue.

The 15 bands and nearly 20 house DJs will perform on two different stages Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Main Stage is presented by the Empty Bottle, 1035 N. Western Ave., while the House DJ Stage is presented by the festival itself.

The 15th annual fest will run from 5-10 p.m. Friday, July 5 and 12-10 p.m. Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7 on Chicago Avenue between Damen Avenue and Wood Street.

There’s something for everyone: Kid Fest will run 12-7 p.m. Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7 and a Pet Fest will run 12-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

A $5 suggested donation will benefit the West Town Chamber of Commerce, Talcott Fine Arts and Museum Academy and Roberto Clemente Community Academy.
