CHICAGO — Three people were wounded in shootings in Logan Square and Humboldt Park on Sunday night.
Most recently, at 9:56 p.m., a 22-year-old man was walking in the 2900 block of North Ridgeway Avenue in Logan Square when he saw a man firing shots in the air, police said. The man then fired a shot at the 22-year-old, hitting him in the right side of his lower abdomen.
The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as “stable,” police said.
The gunman ran off after the shooting, police said.
Just a half-hour before, a 15-year-old boy and a 43-year-old man were shot in Humboldt Park.
At 9:26 p.m., the two were in separate cars in the 1500 block of North Spaulding Avenue when they were shot, police said. They took themselves to different hospitals after the shooting.
The 15-year-old was hit in his knee and was at Norwegian-American Hospital and the man was hit in his hand and leg and was at St. Mary Hospital. Their conditions were not available but they were listed as “stable,” police said.
The victims were uncooperative with investigators, police said.
No one was in custody and the investigation were ongoing.
