CHICAGO — A shooting near the border of Uptown and Edgewater left a 28-year-old man wounded late Thursday.
At 10:25 p.m., the man was driving when he stopped at a red light in the 1200 block of West Foster Avenue. Someone in another car pulled up alongside him and fired shots, police said.
The man was hit in his neck and his passenger drove him to Weiss Memorial Hospital. His condition was not available but he was listed as “stable,” police said.
The gunman drove north on Broadway. No one was in custody and an investigation was ongoing.
