CHICAGO — Police are looking for a man who raped a woman early Saturday in Englewood.
At 7 a.m., the 52-year-old woman was in the 5800 block of South Carpenter Street when a man walked up to her and offered her some of his cigar, according to a Chicago Police community alert. The man then grabbed the woman’s arms, pulled her into an alley and assaulted her.
The man was black, 30-40 years old, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7 and slender, police said. He had brown eyes and wore a light gray hooded sweatshirt with black letters, light blue jeans and gym shoes. He had the hood pulled over his head.
