LOGAN SQUARE — To celebrate the opening of the new 1st Ward office, Ald. Daniel La Spata (1st) is inviting the community to attend an open house party from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday.
The office at 1958 N. Milwaukee Ave. sits between the Logan Square and Wicker Park/Bucktown neighborhood borders. (The office is on the southwest corner of the intersection of Milwaukee and Western avenues.)

General office hours will be 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Mondays; 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 2-8 p.m. on Thursdays.
Following through on a campaign promise, La Spata will reinstate “Ward Nights” at the office.
These events will take place on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month from 4-8 p.m.
This week’s Ward Night, however, will cut off at 6:30 p.m. in light of the open house party.
