CHICAGO — Country Club is about to get very red, white and blue.

A Fourth of July-themed popup, which opens Wednesday, will take over Country Club with two floors of American-themed decorations, DJs spinning “all-American party jams” and themed food and drinks, according to the bar.

Dubbed the All American, the popup will also have a special Independence Day party on July 3 and 4.

The drink menu includes the All American, a mix of Absolut America and cherry Kool-Aid, as well as the Statue of Liberty, which is champagne with a frozen Bomb Pop that can be used for stirring the drink.

Food will include classics like mini corn dogs, sliders with fries and state fair-style cheese curds.

It’s the first time Country Club has done the Fourth of July popup. Over the winter, it transformed into the holiday-themed Christmas Club.

The popup starts Wednesday and continues until July 6 at Country Club, 3462 N. Clark St. The bar is open 5 p.m.-2 a.m. Wednesday-Friday, 11 a.m.-3 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Sunday. It’s also open at least two hours before all Cubs home games.
