CHICAGO — The Navy Pier flyover will be closed for most of next week.
The flyover, an elevated path for bicyclists and pedestrians along the Lakefront Trail, was opened in December near Navy Pier.
It’ll be closed 7 a.m. Monday through 3 p.m. Thursday for striping, according to the Chicago Department of Transportation.
Workers will also connect the finished part of the flyover to the second segment of it, which is still under construction. The opening of that second segment is expected in late summer.
The far right lane of northbound Lake Shore Drive will be closed 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday for a steel delivery as part of the flyover project, as well.
