CHICAGO — Robbers held people up at gunpoint in three robberies last week on the North Side.
During the robberies, one or two men got out of a car and walked up to a victim while in a parking lot, according to a Chicago Police community alert. The robbers took out a gun and held up the victim, then took off in a car driven by another person.
The robberies occurred:
- 6:40 p.m. Thursday in the 2400 block of West Montrose Avenue
- 5:10 p.m. Friday in the 4000 block of North Pulaski Road
- 5:43 p.m. Friday in the 4000 block of West Lawrence Avenue
In one incident, one robber was described as a white or Hispanic man who was 30-35 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 with short brown hair and at least one facial tattoo, police said.
During another robbery, the robber was described as a white man who was 20-30 years old, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-7 with light-colored hair and at least one facial tattoo, police said.
No description was available in the third robbery.
