CHICAGO — A 30-year-old was shot to death early Monday in Lakeview.
About 2:30 a.m., the man was a passenger in a car when he got into an argument with another man, who was in a white Dodge Magnum, in a parking lot in the 3200 block of North Sheffield Avenue, police said. The man in the Dodge Magnum took out a gun and the driver of the victim’s car drove away.
The Dodge Magnum followed, and someone in that car fired shots at the victim’s car while in the 2900 block of North Broadway, police said.
The 30-year-old man was hit in his head and shoulder. His driver took him to St. Joseph Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The Dodge driver drove away and no one was in custody.
An investigation was ongoing.
