CHICAGO — Alive Rescue is opening a new adoption center — and it’s throwing a party to celebrate.

The rescue, which helps dogs and cats find permanent homes, has partnered with Pooch Hotel West Loop to open an adoption center inside the pet hotel.

There will be dogs up for adoption at the Thursday night party, as well as a raffle. Vegan and vegetarian food and drinks will be available.

The party is 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the Pooch Hotel West Loop, 1214 W. Monroe St. More information is available on Facebook.
