WEST TOWN — Chicago police were investigating a fatal shooting Tuesday in West Town.
Shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday, police arrived at a home in the 2200 block of West Grand Avenue in West Town. A 40-year-old woman, who had been shot in her neck, was found inside, officials said.
Johanna Garrison, of suburban Glenview, was pronounced dead at 9:11 p.m. at the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
No arrests have been made, but police have identified a man as a person of interest and think the shooting could be domestic-related.
