CHICAGO — Police are looking for a man who they said exposed himself to two underage girls and tried to grab one of them Wednesday in Irving Park.
At 7:19 p.m. Wednesday, a 6-year-old and her 15-year-old sister were walking in the 4000 block of North Elston Avenue when a man on a bike rode up to them, according to a Chicago Police community alert.
The man exposed himself to the girls and grabbed the teenager by her jacket, police said. She broke away and the two girls ran off.
The man was last seen riding his bike south in the 3900 block of North Bernard Street, police said.
The man was Hispanic, in his late 30s to early 40s, had a medium to heavy build and had short, black hair and a mustache, police said. He wore a navy blue baseball cap, a navy blue polo shirt, navy blue shorts and was carrying a dark-colored backpack with thick, white trim.
The man rode a red mountain bike.
Anyone with information about the attack was asked to call police at 312-492-3810.
