DOUGLAS PARK — Riot Fest is returning to Douglas Park this fall to celebrate 15 years of festivals in Chicago — and they have some big names on board.
Slayer, which is calling it quits on touring, will play their last Chicago show at the festival the weekend of September 13-15 in Douglas Park, 1401 S Sacramento Dr., organizers announced Wednesday.
Iconic Riot Grrl band Bikini Kill, which reunited this year for a few shows in New York and Los Angeles, will also perform. Blink 182, which canceled their Riot Fest performance last year, will make up for their absence by headlining the festival this year.
Here’s the full lineup for the festival, which also includes a carnival, vendor area, dozens of food options and more. Tickets, which cost $129.98 for a three-day pass, are on sale now. VIP options are also available for a higher price. One day passes and schedules will be announced at a later date.
