CHICAGO — Three people were shot and wounded late Thursday in Little Village, police said.

At 10:40 p.m., the three were standing on the sidewalk in the 3500 block of West Cermak Road when someone walked up to them and fired shots, police said.

A woman, 27, was hit in her back and a man, 28, was hit in his leg. They were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions were not available but they were listed as “stable,” police said.

Another man, 35, had his nose grazed by a bullet. He refused emergency medical services.

No one was in custody and an investigation was ongoing.
