CHICAGO — A 20-year-old man was shot and wounded early Thursday in Little Village, police said.
At 3:29 a.m., the man was walking in the 2100 block of South Fairfield Avenue when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit. He told officers he didn’t see the gunman or know where the shots came from, police said.
The man was shot in his leg and he took himself to Rush Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as “stable,” police said.
No one was in custody. An investigation was ongoing.
