CHICAGO — Police are asking for help finding the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run on the Far South Side.

At 1:32 a.m. Thursday, a 41-year-old man was walking in the 400 block of East 95th Street when a driver hit him, according to a Chicago Police community alert.

Cleo Andrews, of the 8000 block of South Ingleside Avenue, was pronounced dead at 2:31 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The driver was in a blue, four-door Chevrolet Cobalt with the license plate BE82675, police said. The driver went east on 95th Street from Vernon Avenue. The car should have extensive damage to its windshield and roof.

Anyone with information about the hit-and-run was asked to call police at 312-745-4521.
