BUCKTOWN — This week, a freshly inaugurated Ald. Daniel La Spata (1st) will join Ald. Brian Hopkins (2nd) and Ald. Scott Waguespack (32nd) on Chicago’s City Council.
On Thursday morning, all three aldermen will meet with their constituents during a free breakfast at Goddess and Grocer, 1649 N. Damen Ave.
The “State of the Wards” event, sponsored by the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce, will take place 8:30-10 a.m. Thursday.
Breakfast is free for those who register ahead of time. RSVP online. If you have questions about the event, email Louise Yingduo Liu at louise@silvermangroupchicago.com.
In addition to questioning their aldermen about ward projects, attendees will also have the chance to learn more about the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce and the Wicker Park Bucktown Special Service Area No. 33, Yingduo Lui said.
