Persons Of Interest Questioned In Disappearance Of Pregnant Teen Marlen Ochoa-Uriostegui

People were brought in for questioning Tuesday, police said.

LITTLE VILLAGE —  Authorities are questioning people of interest in the disappearance of pregnant 19-year-old Marlen Ochoa-Uriostegui, the Chicago Police  Department said.

People were brought in for questioning as part of the missing person’s investigation Tuesday, police spokeswoman Sally Bown said. Ochoa-Uriostegui was last seen three weeks ago.

No other details were available at this time, Bown said.

According to a report from ABC 7, police brought people into questioning from the 4100 block of West 77th Place.

Ochoa-Uriostegui was last seen in the 2000 block of South California Avenue on April 23 after leaving Latino Youth High School in Little Village. She was nine months pregnant with a May 5 due date. 

Earlier this month, Ochoa-Uriostegui’s family held a press conference pleading for answers in her disappearance.

During the press conference earlier this month, Pastor Emma Lozano said she believed Ochoa-Uriostegui was “being held against her will.”
