CHICAGO — About 250 artists will sell and showcase their work at this June’s Old Town Art Fair.
The Art Fair, which is expected to draw 30,000 people, is returning June 8-9, according to a news release from organizers. About half of the artists will be new to the fair, and they’ll sell everything from jewelry to photography prints and paintings.
The fair will also feature a garden walk, live music, food and a spot for children’s activities. An Art Buyers Inside Tour will be new this year, with one of the fair’s art jury experts guiding a tour of 10-12 artists. Artists will talk about their work and answer questions.
Proceeds from the fair will go to the Old Town Triangle Association and Menomonee Club, among other organizations.
The fair will be open 10 a.m.-7 p.m. June 8 and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. June 9. The center of the fair is 1763 N. North Park Ave., with the main entry at Lincoln Avenue and Wisconsin Street. Children can enter free, but there’s a $10-per-person suggested donation for adults.
