CHICAGO — Two women and a man tried to lure three boys to their car by offering them candy Sunday in Dunning, police said.
At 4 p.m., the boys were playing in the 3400 block of North Olcott Avenue when two women and a man called out to them, according to a Chicago Police community alert.
“Hey, hey, come over here,” one of the women said, according to police. “Why don’t you come over here? Hey, kids, want candy? It’s in my car.”
The boys declined and the woman said, “Good, you passed.”
The three people then drove off, police said.
The women were described as white, 17-22 years old with long, dark hair, police said. One wore a white shirt and black pants and the other wore a red hooded sweatshirt with a camouflage shirt or jacket.
The man was described as white, 17-22 years old, thin with dark, medium-length hair, police said. He wore a white T-shirt, black pants and a black leather jacket.
The three were driving a black, four-door car with black, shiny rims and tinted back windows, police said.
