CHICAGO — At least two people were robbed and had things thrown at them during recent robberies in West Town, police said.
A robber walked up to the victims and demanded their property, according to a Chicago Police community alert. The robber, a teen boy, threw items at the victims and forced them to hand over their belongings, then ran away.
The robberies happened:
- 4:55 p.m. April 25 in the 1600 block of West Huron Street
- 4:50 p.m. April 25 in the 1600 block of West Huron Street
The robber was described as an approximately 16-year-old boy who wore a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray or black sweatpants, police said.
