CHICAGO — Two Humboldt Park apartments have been hit by burglaries recently, police said.
The burglar or burglars forced open the front doors of the apartments, stole from inside and then ran off, according to a Chicago Police community alert.
The burglaries occurred:
- 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. April 18 in the 3100 block of West Walton Street
- 8:08 p.m. Saturday in the 2600 block of West Chicago Avenue
In one of the incidents, the burglar was described as 19-25 years old, 5-foot-11 and wearing a black zip-up jacket and black pants, police said.
