CHICAGO — Two men drove a van through the front windows of a Norwood Park Verizon phone store to get inside early Tuesday, police said.
At 2:02 a.m. Tuesday, the men were driving a white van when they backed through the front windows of the phone store in the 6300 block of North Northwest Highway, police said.
The men, who were wearing reflective vests and gloves, got out of the van and went into the store.
It was not immediately clear if the men actually took anything, police said.
The van used in the incident was found in the 5400 block of North River Road. It had been set on fire and no one was inside, police said.
An investigation was ongoing. No one was in custody.
