CHICAGO — Ann Arbor’s famous Zingerman’s Delicatessen is coming to Chicago this May.

The Michigan-based deli is teaming up with Chicago’s own The Ruin Daily for the popup at 328 S. Jefferson St. They’ll serve up some of Zingerman’s most famous sandwiches — including the No. 2 Zingerman’s Reuben and the No. 36 Lila and Izzie’s Skokie Skidoo — as well as a new sandwich the staffs designed together.

“We’re thrilled to bring the Zingerman’s experience to the Chicago dining scene and give the city a taste of what we’re all about,” says Rodger Bowser, managing partner of Zingerman’s Delicatessen, in a news release. “The Ruin Daily is not your average sandwich spot and we couldn’t be more honored to set up shop in their space and collaborate for this one-of-a-kind takeover.”

Attendees will be able to grab a sandwich while enjoying craft beer from Michigan breweries or specialty cocktails.

The popup is open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. May 19 and 7 a.m.-7 p.m. May 20 at the Ruin Daily, 328 S. Jefferson St.
